Deborah Kellam Keenan

Schenectady – Deborah Kellam Keenan, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, March 10, 2025. She was born in 1954 to the late Newton J. and Georgeina (Wilson) Kellam in Schenecetady.

Deborah worked for many years as a dental assistant at the office of Dr. Wilson & Buchakjian in Schenectady.

She enjoyed traveling and camping but most of all spending time with her family.

Deborah is survived by her children Meghan (Michael) Bigos, Paul Rizzo, grandchildren Steven Garcia, Drake and Logan Barker-Bigos, Natalie and Jayden Rizzo and Will Stewart, her sister Nancy (Jack) Howser and her significant other Butch Rose who was also her caregiver. She also leaves behind her faithful companion dogs Rusty and Mushi. Deborah was predeceased by her husband David Keenan.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday March 22, 2025 from 9 am to 10 am with a Memorial Service at 10 am at Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Burial will follow to Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
