James S. Friderici

Niskayuna

Dr. James S. Friderici, 59, of Van Vranken Avenue passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Schenectady and Niskayuna, he was the son of Arthur and Helen Friderici.

James was a 1983 graduate of Niskayuna High School. He then earned a degree in Art History from SUNY Albany and Urban Planning from RPI.

He was employed as a tax representative for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

James was a lifelong member of the Niskayuna Reformed Church where he served as the Hand Bell Choir Director for many years.

His interest included photography, art, music, and cooking.

His father Arthur pre-deceased him.

Survivors include his mother Helen Friderici of Niskayuna; his brother Charles Friderici of Niskayuna as well as several cousins and close friends.

A Memorial Celebration of His Life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie.
